Our
Story
Portland, OR
Psychedelic Integration began with a shared longing—for healing that reaches beneath the surface, for therapy that honors the mind, body, and soul, and for a way of working that returns us to what it means to be human.
Together, we (Julian, Claire, and our beloved Layla) created this practice not as a clinic or a brand, but as a living, breathing space for transformation. A place where people could bring their whole selves—grief, longing, joy, and all—and be met with compassion, presence, and truth.
We are walking the healing path ourselves. We know what it’s like to feel lost, disconnected, or burdened by trauma that lives in the body long after the story ends. We also know the power of being seen—gently, deeply, and without judgment. That’s the space we hold for others.
Psychedelic Integration is about returning home: to the body, to the heart, and to the version of ourselves that existed before the pain required us to adapt. Our work blends somatic therapy, meditation, and psychedelic integration to help you not just heal, but recover who you are beneath the survival strategies.
This is more than a practice—it’s a way of life. And we’re honored to walk alongside those who feel called to this path.
Julian Bermudez
Julian is a therapist, guide, and companion on the path of healing. He works closely with people navigating trauma, identity, and the integration of psychedelic experiences—helping them reconnect with the deep, unshakable truth of who they are.
His work is not conventional. It doesn’t revolve around diagnoses or protocols. Instead, it’s rooted in presence, deep listening, and the belief that healing is a return to our natural state of being: connected, present, and whole.
Through somatic work, meditation, and honest self-inquiry, Julian helps people soften the survival patterns that once protected them—but now keep them stuck. He offers a grounded, intuitive approach that bridges modern therapeutic insight with timeless human wisdom.
His mission is simple: to preserve and nurture the human experience. In a world that often pulls us away from our aliveness, Julian helps clients come back to themselves, to each other, and to the world around them. His work isn’t just about feeling better—it’s about recovering what it means to be human.
Clients often describe their time with him as “one of the most transformative experiences of my life.” Whether you’re working with trauma, anxiety, or searching for meaning after a psychedelic journey, Julian holds space for the kind of healing that changes everything.

Claire, RN
With her warm presence and deep well of compassion, Claire creates an environment where healing feels not only possible—but natural. Every space she holds reflects the essence of who she is: nurturing, steady, and full of care.
For years, she offered her skills as a registered nurse in hospitals and clinical settings, supporting people through physical and mental health crises. But when her own healing journey called, Claire stepped away from the emotionally sterile world of conventional medicine, reconnecting with what she felt was missing in modern healthcare—an approach that treated symptoms, but often missed the soul. What she discovered was vital: true healing happens in connection—with ourselves, with each other, and with the parts of us that long to be seen and heard. And to foster that kind of healing, we must create spaces that invite vulnerability, authenticity, and self-awareness.
Claire’s work today is shaped by both her clinical background and her lived experience—through the tender terrain of childhood wounds, the depths of illness, and the radical choice to honor her own wholeness over the comfort of convention. Claire's path is not just one of service, but of embodiment. Her mission is simple but profound: to help others rediscover the joy, connection, and fulfillment that come from living a deeply authentic life.
Layla
Layla is our beloved co-therapist and resident heart-opener. A retired service dog, she now spends her days doing what she does best—offering presence, comfort, and the occasional well-timed nap during sessions. Her gentle snore, grounded energy, and intuitive nature create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere wherever she goes.
Though she’s no longer making hospital rounds, Layla remains committed to her role here at Psychedelic Integration. She greets every guest at the door with her signature beagle bark and a hopeful glance toward the treat jar. Around the neighborhood, she’s a familiar face—especially at pet stores and cafes where pup cups are always on the menu.
To those who meet her, Layla offers something simple yet profound: a sense of safety, warmth, and the feeling that everything is going to be okay.
